Not well-received?
[edit]This line confuses me:
This video is often cited as an example of how female performers past their sexual prime are not as well received as their male counterparts...
How, exactly? Even though "If I Could Turn Back Time" was restricted to airing after 9pm, it was played heavily, seemingly non-stop. This single also went on to be one of Cher's biggest hits of her solo career. If it is "often cited", then we need a citation. Can someone clarify? --buck 13:59, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'm with you there, in fact I put a cn tag after "often" before even reading this comment! Now that I see how long this has been hanging around without anyone doing anything about it, I suggest the next editor who sees this should just remove the comment entirely. I'm just not really well enough versed in "pop culture" to do it with confidence myself. --Slashme 11:18, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

unofficial video
[edit]What is the significance of the Cagle unofficial video? If it was just a fanvid released on the internet, it becomes very non-notable. Those things are a dime a dozen on Youtube. --Slashme 11:15, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Cagle probably added this reference himself, I've removed the reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.203.159.26 (talk) 09:15, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Family Guy Reference
[edit]"[Yet] another example of Meg Griffin being the butt of most of the jokes on the show" - Is this relevant? Is it true? I'm inclined to answer in the negative on both counts. Anyone else? Nickwithers 12:40, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Eastenders
[edit]Is the fact that a character on a UK soap opera sang the song notable enough to warrant inclusion in the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.141.110.79 (talk) 20:01, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
The following sentence at the end of this article is incorrect: "Additionally, Cher's second husband and Elijah's father, Gregg Allman, also makes an appearance on guitar."
The blond male playing the guitar is not Gregg Allman, but is David Shelley. He is in this video and he also toured with Cher. David is a musician currently living in south Florida and he has his own band, David Shelley and Bluestone (www.davidshelleyandbluestone.com)

Originally was going to be a Robin Beck song
[edit]In Robin Beck's interview with YouTuber Chris Mayek, it was going to be her song but was eventually given to Cher, but still participated as a background vocalist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-IBtCFJgeY Be perfect for backround segment of the article. 67.43.190.226 (talk) 19:10, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
