Lead & Infobox
[edit]- Add comma after "with the song "Je ne sais quoi""
Everything else is good with the lead and infobox.
Background
[edit]Refs #1, #2, and #3 checked – all are reliable and have appropriate information about the sentences they're cited for. No MOS issues in this section either.
Before Eurovision
[edit]- Remove "100%", it's redundant
- I'm not sure if this would be correct to say: "..and had the right to collaborate with foreign songwriters.." based on this sentence from the source:
Those not meeting the mentioned requirements and wishing to enter the selection process can do so by working in collaboration with an Icelandic national.
I suggesting splitting that into another sentence and changing it to something like (change to fit your own words): "Non-Icelandic songwriters could also participate in the competition if they joined with an Icelandic singer." - "RÚV presented the songs on 4, 11 and 18 January 2010 via radio on Rás 2." Source doesn't support this. Maybe you meant "9, 16 and 23 January"?
- Question: I forgot where this came from and couldn't find anything when I searched again, so I've removed the sentence. Grk1011 (talk) 17:49, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- Ref #20 doesn't support the sentence it's cited for (Nothing about volcanos or awareness to Iceland; this is included in Ref #24 however)
- Question: Ref 20 has the interview recording link in it and this is discussed during it. Grk1011 (talk) 17:49, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- Ah, didn't see that. All good then. — Golden call me maybe?
At Eurovision
[edit]- [[Bookmaker|bookmakers]] -> [[bookmaker]]s
Refs #25 to #46 checked. No further issues with the sources or the MOS in this section.
Conclusion
[edit]No issues with plagiarism (checked with Earwig's copyvio detector). Two of the three images in the article are free, while "File:Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins 2010.jpg" is non-free but can be used in this article per WP:FUR. No major issues with MOS and sourcing. Ready to pass once the above issues are addressed. — Golden call me maybe? 15:17, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
