Notability and Removing Redirect
[edit]This article has been deleted pet the AfD and redirected to the album's article. Until this single is notable, it does not deserve (can't think of a better word) it's own article. For a single to be notable per WP:Notability or more specifically WP:NSONGS, it must recieve "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Here is a news search on the song itself which currently have no results that do anything but mention that the song is on the album. OlYellerTalktome 01:30, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- The last revision was the first to use references. I thought perhaps they would show notability but they were just to prove that the song exists and will start playing on the 14th of April. I wonder what's convincing people to recreate a page with no claim to notability and without checking the history or talk page. OlYellerTalktome 22:59, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- the last revision has 3 references. One is to the offficial website. One is to a comment by the director of the video. The last is to a blog. None of those references are independent and/or reliable per WP:Notability. OlYellerTalktome 20:44, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
- OK. Someone else has recreated the article. As to avoid getting banned for violating WP:3RR, I'll leave it as it is and let an admin clear this up. OlYellerTalktome 20:52, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Merge
[edit]I have merged I Do Not Hook Up (Kelly Clarkson song) into this page. This article was previously deleted at AfD, but as this new version seems to attempt to address the concerns of the AfD, following a suggestion at User talk:Camaron, I will not G4 it. If anybody disagrees they are free to take the page back to AfD. Camaron | Chris (talk) 09:09, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- It looks good to me now. It at least asserts notability with the charts. OlYellerTalktome 13:31, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Kara in the video
[edit]You should add to the music video section that Kara Dioguardi made an appearance. It doesnt mention anything about her when I came to it. (13taylor (talk) 01:18, 20 May 2009 (UTC))

[edit]- 2 in South Africa, please add it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.222.247.127 (talk) 11:33, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]This quote was found in the music video section near the end, "The two kiss passionately and fuck each other real nice and slow with lots of action in front of the now shocked dinner guests and Clarkson feeds him a chocolate-covered strawberry. A flash of horizontal diffusion awakens her from her fantasy and she is sitting next to her dorky younger brother eating chocolate-covered strawberries." I'm not a good wikipedia editor so can someone please change this? Thanks. (Jardenix (talk) 4:47, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- I removed it, will re-write the section when I get the time (couple of hours)Laurielegit (talk) 10:59, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Hemisphere fusion
[edit]This song is about hooking up the left hemisphere with the right hemisphere of one's own brain. And it is amazing and will literally change everything you people think about the world. Figure out the rest yourselves. Maybe it's a little more important than "C" though. But what do I know except symbolism lost to history for over 500 years at least.
