The result of the move request was: move the article to I Am the Greatest (A House album), per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 17:17, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I Am the GreatestI Am the Greatest (album) I Am the Greatest (A House album) – The phrase "I Am the Greatest" seems much more closely associated, in the general consciouness, with Muhammad Ali than with the third album of the Irish rock band A House (which has an article that gets less than 300 page views per month and probably derived its title from the well-known expression of the Louisville Lip). I suggest that I Am the Greatest (and I Am The Greatest) should redirect to I Am the Greatest: The Adventures of Muhammad Ali or to Muhammad Ali, or perhaps I Am the Greatest: The Adventures of Muhammad Ali should be moved to I Am the Greatest per WP:SUBTITLE / WP:CONCISE.BarrelProof (talk) 18:17, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

User:BarrelProof User:George Ho created, see I Am the Greatest (disambiguation). I'm wondering whether the (Ringo Starr song) needs recognizable titling also. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:02, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This new development clearly implies that I should change my suggestion: The A House album should be moved to I Am the Greatest (A House album) instead of to I Am the Greatest (album). I have revised my suggestion with strikethrough accordingly above. —BarrelProof (talk) 03:51, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Cassius Clay is also Muhammad Ali as I realize. I have proposed a merger to Muhammad Ali, so I am still trying to prevent the title from becoming unstable. --George Ho (talk) 05:31, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Why leave this article where it is? Its title is the title of a more notable work of greater historical importance by a person who is much more well-known to be associated with that phrase than this band is. That's true regardless of whether a merge is performed or not, although I personally suggest not. —BarrelProof (talk) 06:05, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As User:BarrelProof, George your proposed merge at Talk:Muhammad_Ali#Proposed_merge_with_I_Am_the_Greatest_.28Cassius_Clay_album.29 seems completely pointless as the Ali album is far more historically significant than the Irish album. This isn't within a million miles of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. In ictu oculi (talk) 06:12, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:notability, a notability of a topic may not guarantee an article. In that case, the spoken word album by Ali is inherently, not independently, notable. Also, it should meet WP:notability (music), but I don't think it won awards, even when it hit the charts. --George Ho (talk) 06:25, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I certainly agree with you that some albums (even those by notable people and even those that are quite popular) have insufficient distinct notability to justify writing a separate article about them. But I'm also very sure that Ali's album is not in that category. I hope you don't mind my saying it, but I think you are simply not very familiar with the historical importance of Ali and some of the events in his life story. Anyhow, this is the Talk page of an article about an album by an Irish rock band, not the Talk page of an article about Ali or his album or his cartoon television series or his signature quote. The relevant issue here is that those other topics are discussed on Wikipedia and are clearly notable to some degree, and we should decide whether that should affect the title of this article. I, of course, suggest that the answer is "yes". —BarrelProof (talk) 18:15, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well... even notability of the Irish band's album is at stake here just because of Ali's catchphrase, "I am the greatest!" We should have a hatnote about the disambiguation page. Isn't it enough? --George Ho (talk) 05:15, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Adding "(A House album)" to the article name doesn't make the album any less notable than it would otherwise be. It just acknowledges that it is not the WP:Primary topic for "I Am the Greatest", since there are other notable topics by that name that are also discussed on Wikipedia. —BarrelProof (talk) 05:30, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think any topic of exact same name can top the Irish band's album. Marginal as is, it can be more notable than any other, even a "notable" catchphrase. --George Ho (talk) 05:51, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
What makes you think this album is more notable than Ali's album, television show, and general frequent exclamation? Ali is unquestioned as a major figure in modern sports and civil rights and showmanship history, and one of the things he was most known for was his pioneering poetry of "trash talking". —BarrelProof (talk) 07:04, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I totally forgot the catchphrase; I was too busy thinking about politics and college. As for the television show, it was too short-lived and was influenced by Ali's fame, but the cartoon itself didn't make much impact on society. It's just a random cartoon with a famed boxer in it. I could be wrong about two albums; they are considered influential albums ever. Even without some cartoon, if not for improvement on the Cassius Clay album article, I would have still opposed. --George Ho (talk) 20:17, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for reconsidering. I haven't yet really studied the question of the television show, but I am convinced that the album is notable. I wasn't even aware of the album when submitting this request, but now I find it a very interesting subject. —BarrelProof (talk) 21:37, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
