Article merge
[edit]I would like to propose merging all of the separate articles for each award category into this main article for the MuchMusic video awards as each of the sub-articles are comprised of little more than a short list of winners. This could easily be incorporated into this article and improve the flow.
The list of articles to include in the merge:
- Best Video
- Best Director
- Best Post-Production
- MuchLoud Best Rock Video
- MuchVibe Best Rap Video
- Best Pop Video
- Best Independent Video
- MuchMoreMusic Award
- Best French Video
- Best International Artist Video
- Best International Group Video
- Best Cinematography
- VideoFACT Award
- People's Choice: Favorite International Group
- People's Choice: Favorite International Artist
- People's Choice: Favourite Canadian Group
- People's Choice: Favourite Canadian Artist
- Best International Video By A Canadian
Thoughts? Objections? Neil916 (Talk) 05:42, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- No objections. I really should have removed the red links before those articles were created. –Pomte 12:45, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
I think that they should have separate articles because the main article for the MMVA's would get to crowded even though they are a small list of winners. Anthonyd3ca 04:22, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. --Thankyoubaby 19:15, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Tv michelle trachtenberg 2004 mmva pre game show.jpg
[edit]Image:Tv michelle trachtenberg 2004 mmva pre game show.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Archive History of Canadian Music Awards/Much Music Video Awards 1990 - 2014
[edit]As a current employee of Much and MMVA staff, I have been able to screen the past award shows in its entirety, and compiled an archive document with confirmed performers, nominees and winners from 1990-2014.
Looking to either host this document to the MMVA page, or have an admin update the pages with this verified information.
Is someone able to advise how this can be achieved?
Thank you in advance.
