Proper name of article?
[edit]Since the subject's name is actually written as "iheartradio" by the publisher (Clear Channel), would it not be proper for the article here to be moved to [[iheartradio]]? --Strikerforce (talk) 03:14, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
- Not sure where you see this, on the Windows Phone 7 app it is iHeartRadio. I do believe that the i should be uncapitalized. Gwickwire (talk) 17:14, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
Image
[edit]Have we just not been able to find a free/fair use image for the logo of iHeartRadio? If so, then that's fine. I was just wondering if we just had not included an image for the logo for some other reason. gwickwire (talktome) (contribs!) 02:17, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
U.S. only?
[edit]The article says "iHeartRadio delivers access to over 800+ live, local radio stations from around the United States". But consider border markets like Detroit-Windsor. Detroit's Clear Channel Communications stations' streams are delivered through iHeartRadio, but are inaccessible to the Canadian portion of the market. So it doesn't deliver access to those stations to them. If this is representative of how iHeartRadio works outside the US for all the streams it provides, the sentence should be reworked to say something like "iHeartRadio delivers US listeners access to over 800+ live, local radio stations from around the United States". (I'm referring to streaming radio from the station's websites, using a browser) 24.57.210.141 (talk) 14:25, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
Individual artist stations
[edit]References to individual-artist stations are omitted b/c they're irrelevant to the iHeartRadio's history, and are likely put there just for promotional purposes, as the site is very concerned with competing with Pandora. Instead, find the date when this site began doing Pandora-like artist-defined "stations," because that would be quite relevant to the history of online radio.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2012 69.248.167.2 (talk • contribs) 05:53, 29 January (UTC)
LOL at this article
[edit]It was so obviously written by employees of ClearChannel (or others with a vested interest in promoting iHeartRadio. I'm surprised it hasn't been nominated for deletion, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.110.75.70 (talk) 17:08, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
Xbox One
[edit]The following was moved here from the article's HISTORY section as a future date (WP:CBALL):
- On January 3, 2014, iHeartRadio expanded to the Xbox One console.
Feel free to add it to history after it becomes history. --Davodd (talk) 03:19, 12 December 2013 (UTC)

Conflict of Interest
[edit]The following Wikipedia contributor has declared a personal or professional connection to the subject of this article. Error: Disclosures that use the |checked= parameter should also use |editedhere=yes for at least one contributor.

It is fairly clear to me that this article is no longer neutral. There is advertisement-like language in the lead and throughout several sections. Kevinpwong, for example, contributed a significant amount of text. I decided not to revert these recent contributions as they are valuable, but their only contributions are to IHeartMedia pages. Consider a soft revert or at least a cleanup to bring the article back to a neutral state. 216.249.95.134 (talk) 20:17, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
The recent revert doesn't align with the history and timeline of actual events. I work for the company, can I edit in some suggestions that would make this more accurate, while also keeping it neutral? Angelica5555 (talk) 17:23, 11 August 2017 (UTC)

Financials
[edit]Funny, I don't see any mention of the financial state of the company since ... ever. Particularly since 2008, when iHeartMedia financial troubles embedded in 2008 leveraged buyout began. And for most of the past two years, almost everyone knows the score ... even though there's no hint of it here. Nice of Clear Channel founder B.J. “Red” McCombs offering to help. But looks like it may be too late. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.126.65.189 (talk) 14:49, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
