Still dry?
[edit]This channel has been dry since 1986.
I just checked images on Google Earth and it looks as if a lot of water has lately flown through that channel into Carson Sink - and, as a matter of fact, these images must have been taken long after 1986. Maybe the information in the article needs to be updated. --89.59.16.202 (talk) 17:55, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- You're right, it looks like that. I couldn't find any online info but probably there's somebody who can help. It should be checked. --Krawunsel (talk) 22:50, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- Coming back to your request, I found some info on a flooding in the Carson River basin which took place around New Year's Day 2006. There is no information if Humboldt River was affected too but it likely was because any rain clouds would be expected to move east from the Carson River basin to the Humboldt River basin.
