Hi, I hope you’re well. My name is Steve Bland and I am news and content manager at a PR agency called No Brainer. We work with HomeServe which, as I’m sure you’re aware, is based in the West Midlands.

Having spent some time reviewing the HomeServe Wikipedia page, I’ve noticed a few factual inaccuracies and amendments that I was hoping you might be able to look at please? I’ve listed these below for ease, but I hope you agree they’ll make the page more accurate for Wikipedia readers visiting this page?

I’ve also suggested another point that I thought was worth flagging to you to offer some additional factual content that, I hope you agree, goes some way to helping to show off the West Midlands in the best light possible.

To avoid conflict of interest that might occur if myself or one of the team edited the page ourselves, could we suggest the following factual amendments for your review please:

Many thanks for taking the time to consider these changes. Please let me know if I can help in any way.

With best wishes, SteveBlandsteve (talk) 10:44, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Moved from Wikipedia:WikiProject West Midlands. Woody (talk) 17:09, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have made some tweaks to the article. In response to your specific requests please see below:
  • 1: If you can provide an appropriate image in accordance with the Image use policy (i.e. public domain) then please upload it to commons so that it can be used in the article.
  • 2: Updated
  • 3: Added sourced text and amended but not removed the Albion text. I notice in the Albion article that it says a Walsall stand was already sponsored but I can't find a source for it.
  • 4: Added a sentence.
Comments are of course welcome. Woody (talk) 19:31, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Woody, I have uploaded an aerial shot of HomeServe's Walsall HQ to Commons. The link is

Hello there,

My name is Laura and I work at HomeServe, and I know it's important to WikiPedia that your information be as accurate as possible. So I wanted to drop you a message, because I have spotted that the logo is actually out of date, and unfortunately this may become confusing to our Customers.

You can see the new brand logo by visiting our website: https://www.homeserve.com/

Or, alternatively, here is a direct link to the logo itself: https://www.homeserve.com/~/media/homeserve-header/homeserve-logo-svg.svg

Could someone please update it? It would be much appreciated!

Thank you.

Best,

Laura — Preceding unsigned comment added by Laurarudd (talkcontribs) 17:40, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yellow Pages text

[edit]

I have removed the following text until it can be reliably sourced. Fastfix advertised heavily in Yellow Pages, generating significant demand nationally despite not having plumbers available in some of the areas it advertised in. Plumbers bought franchises for £5000 with the promise of £25,000 turnover. Several franchisees later took legal action against the company. Woody (talk) 19:31, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
