Move counter RMs and RfC
[edit]This again has to be documented as it is the second time this article has been moved counter consensus:
- (cur | prev) 09:04, 10 October 2011 Kauffner (talk | contribs) m . . (3,646 bytes) (0) . . (moved Hoành Bồ District to Hoanh Bo District over redirect: Follow non-diacritical style of Britannica, AP, and Vietnam New Agency, per WP:NCGN) (undo)
This move was counter RM Talk:Cần Thơ 07 August 2011. And was reverted following confirmation of that RM result at Talk:Cà Mau:
- (cur | prev) 13:00, 5 September 2012 In ictu oculi (talk | contribs) m . . (3,648 bytes) (0) . . (In ictu oculi moved page Hoanh Bo District to Hoành Bồ district: revert another undiscussed move contrary 3 of 3 geo names RMs see Talk:Cà Mau) (undo)
Then:
- cur | prev) 01:25, 12 December 2012 Kauffner (talk | contribs) m . . (3,648 bytes) (0) . . (Kauffner moved page Hoành Bồ district to Hoanh Bo District over redirect: Rvt per WP:BRD, WP:VIETPLACE) (undo)
WP:BRD does not approve moving articles counter RM results, and WP:VIETPLACE says nothing about removing Vietnamese alphabet, and follows a RfC with 23 to 16 (or 10) majority support for use of Vietnamese names in titles. I am not going to revert move contrary to RM and RfC, but am documenting this. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:27, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
