[edit]Under '19th century' the south of Tunbridge Wells was said to be administered as part of Kent after the Local Government Act 1894. In fact the part of Frant parish in Tunbridge Wells municipal borough was transferred to Kent in 1889 by the Local Government Act 1888. Broadwater Down civil parish was created under the Local Government Act 1894 in 1894. It consisted of the former part of Frant which had been transferred to Kent in 1889 plus a Kent part of Frant in the borough. Balrik vostog (talk) 16:10, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
