Naming

Should the second hyphen be removed from (pre-20th-century)?

Merger proposal

[edit]

The history section of the main Aesthetics article article should be merged here. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 00:03, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: I have problems with merging the two. 1)- The main article is considered "Aesthetics" and needs a history section. 2)- The section in the main article is better referenced than this large, one sourced and possible copied, article. I have not looked up the source but I have suppositions that there is plagiarism, original research, or both. I would have to look more closely at the main article section and it might be as bad but surely can't be worse. 3)- This is a subject that needs expert editing and probably should be tagged "Expert-verify" or the like. 4)- Merging the two at this time will be moving some verified content into a one-sourced, non-referenced article and will only accomplish making it look better prima facie.

Major import of information from Aesthetics

[edit]

I had proposed a major re-structuring of the article on aesthetics in general and it's been proposed to merge the historical content of that article into this one which I will do in the next days (I don't hope weeks). I am astonished that both of these pages attract so little attention, but I think that they deserve a major update. AeAnBr (talk) 16:29, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
