According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.
I'm sorry, this statement needs more clarification. Why did he celebrate? It may be obvious to better historians, but as this period of France isn't particularly interesting to me, I'm not sure whether/why they were foes. Weren't they both in basically the same field..?
