The Hindustan Socialist Republican Association was the first successful Socialist Organization in India. It was led by Bhagat Singh and Chandrashekar Azad and was a morphed organization from the Hindustan Republican Army.
Neutral language
[edit]Neutral language should be inserted to replace text glorifying HSRA or adjectives/adverbs with inflammatory tone. As well, statements dealing with the level of appeal of the HSRA (such as that differentiating it from the INC) should follow with citations. Homagetocatalonia (talk) 16:19, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
- Removed POV phrases and language. Added multiple sources, included primary sources. Removed unverifiable information. Added citations for citable information. Please check if we can remove the POV tag?. Sodabottle (talk) 10:56, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- Much better. Homagetocatalonia (talk) 20:54, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Some issues
[edit]- Lead
Lead should be a summary of whole article.
- POV
Many phrases are not in encyclopedic manner, like "overthrow the British Raj", "led to large scale mobilisation of Indian population", using "Pt.", "Dr." (honorifics), unnecessary italicization for emphasis, "Policies of Mohandas Gandhi were openly criticised", " police were astonished to see the language", "famous incident of Jaliyanwala Baug", etc.
- Copy-edit
Punctuation, inconsistency in date formats (use of both middle and small endian), few uninterpretable clauses, etc.
- Referencing
- Article is lacking inline citations at many places.
- Sections like "Background", "Yellow Paper constitution" have no references at all.
- "Prominent members" section also has no source.
- References lacking proper formatting (like Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna, Swatantrata Andolan Mein Shahjahanpur Ka Yogdan have no ISBN)
- Wikify
- Multiple hyperlinks of same subject (like Delhi, Sukhdev)
- Absence of wikilinks (like lathi, Lahore, Meerut)
- Infobox
- Heading style should be either ``== Heading == or ``==Heading==.
- These are just a few things I found in article on a quick review, and hope it would help in the improvement. — Bill william comptonTalk 11:03, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks Bill. will work on the POV language.--Sodabottle (talk) 11:21, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Bismil not in HSRA
[edit]I think bismil wasn't an HSRA member. HSRA Started only after bismil was jailed or hanged. Bismil was only a member in HRA. So I request you to change the list as per HRA and HSRA.--Tenkasi Subramanian (talk) 10:35, 15 March 2012 (UTC)--Tenkasi Subramanian (talk) 10:35, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Why are Bhagat Singh and Shivaram Rajguru not listed in the Prominent members table? Kvwiki1234 (talk) 01:55, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
