Thailand, Cambodia, Burma, and Vietnam

None of the these countries are mentioned in the article even though they have Hindu pasts. --Dangerous-Boy

It is stated that Hinduism is followed by 4-8% in Indonesia. According to census it is 1.81%. Offcourse the census didn't took into account converts to Hinduism from Islam. So many Hindus were counted as Muslims. But those conversions occured in 1960s. Now most of the younger generation identifies themselves as Muslims. Also Tenggerese, who practiced Hinduism now identifies as Budhists.

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Hinduism in Southeast Asia/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Contains several very short sections which prevent it from receiving a higher ranking. Also, could benefit from more inline citations and reference sources. Badbilltucker 15:23, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
