This article exaggerates, it is not in the style of wikipedia to name anything a "Megatherion".

Duplicate

[edit]

High on Fire and High on Fire are essentially the same page. Merge to High on Fire, and redirect High on Fire. What's the protocol on this, admins? Anthony Hit me up... 13:45, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just went ahead and did it. The articles were identical except for one word. --Kvaks 18:37, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that Jeff is a full time member. drtuttle

News

[edit]

From what I have read they are going to start recording for a new album in may. Also Jeff is still a member so I'm assuming he is full time.

The album is supposed to come out September 18th Orion213434 05:16, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vadalism

[edit]

Can someone fix the damn page I can't believe no-one caught this crap.

"In August 2009, the band went into post-production of it's follow-up to "Death Is This Communion"" <= Is this right? I guess it was meant as pre-production, not post-production when the new album is not released yet... PS: Sorry, I don't know how to add a new section in discussion so I'm using this one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.103.152.108 (talk) 13:07, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Southern sludge" scene?

[edit]

Are you serious? They sound nothing like Down, Crowbar, or Eyehategod, and on top of that, they aren't from the south! This should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.116.54.86 (talk) 16:01, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Desperately needs a rewrite

[edit]

Someone (with more time on their hands than I) really needs to do a rewrite of this article. I updated some things, fixed a few problems, and broke the "History" section up into (admittedly rough) paragraphs, but seriously, it needs to be totally rewritten. Plus, it's safe to say High on Fire is deserving of a better-written article! 71.116.54.77 (talk) 05:20, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Consider it done, I started rewriting it yesterday and should have it up later. --XBurningAlive (talk) 16:42, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A section about lyrical themes and musical style would be nice.
