Hi MMHobbs and Emmashavrick - I'm so glad you've chosen this article to improve. It's been on my to-do list for some time. Let me know if I can be of any assistance with the article or with your experience using Wikipedia in general. --— Rhododendritestalk \\ 18:40, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As part of my additions I will be adding a section about Herrad's life at the abbey, as well as reworking and adding to the section titled Hortus Deliciarum and folding the section titled "the fate of the manuscript" into the section on Hortus Deliciarum. @Emmashavrick: This sounds great. Just in case you haven't come across it yet, I'll point out we do have a dedicated article for the Hortus Deliciarum. It might have some useful sources/content to draw from. Ideally the section on this page would summarize but not duplicate that article, focusing to whatever extent possible on Herrad herself as creator of the work. --— Rhododendritestalk \\ 18:37, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Your additions look good! Being as though there is relatively little information on the artist in general, the addition of the section on her Abbey life definitely improved the page. Are there any other images of her/by her that could be added?Juliabeatley (talk) 00:35, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You've done a great job with your edits! I remember reading this article at the start of the semester, and you've definitely expanded the information really nicely. In addition, the section about the fate of the manuscript is pretty flawlessly worked into the larger section on the Hortus Deliciarum. At one point in the Hortus Deliciarm section, it is stated that the work shows a wide range of reading. Why is that? Is there anything specific about the work that tells us that? This looks great! Considering there is very little information on her I think the article looks much better than it used to. I particularly like that one of the main headings focuses on her life at the Abbess, because it is such an important part of her biography. You could maybe add one or two more general sentences to the introduction part, it looks very brief! Everything looks good though! Abarranca22:24, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
