[edit]Several items in this article are questionable. I note just two, but I do not trust the article whatsoever.
Helms, though chess reporter for the New York Times for many years, never conducted a chess column for the paper. Al Horowitz has the honor of being the first chess columnist of the New York Times.
There never was a newspaper called The New York World and Sun. Helms did write a well-received column for the New York World-Telegram, however. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Abenr (talk • contribs) 15:10, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
New York World-Telegram
[edit]The article still mentions a paper that never existed: The New York World and Telegram. According to this same Wikipedia there was a paper called The World-Telegram, later called The World-Telegram and Sun. It was for this paper that Helms wrote a column. Correction is needed.
