Octopus tree
[edit]Didierea madagascariensis is also known as the "Octopus tree". How can a "disambiguation" list be added?

Ecology: sequential nonsequiturs
[edit]What on earth is this sentence about? "The up to 1,000 flowers produced by the plant generate large amounts of nectar, attracting honey-eating birds which then spread the seeds."
Honey ≠ Nectar
Flowers ≠ Seeds
Why should "honey-eating" birds be attracted by nectar? Why and how should the attraction of confused honey eating birds to the flowers "then spread the seeds"? Are fresh flowers produced nearby as the fruits ripen, while the fruits are also sticky or barbed?
Perhaps someone familiar with the plant could clarify this sentence? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.8.64.33 (talk) 02:24, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
