Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • American rapper Pop Smoke, featuring fellow American → American rapper Pop Smoke that features fellow American

Not done It is perfectly fine how it is.

Not done, we need to mention that the two rappers were credited under their real names. Rico Beats and CashMoneyAP producer the track.

I'm not saying we shouldn't mention that, I'm just saying it is not notable for the lead. It is however 100% notable to be placed in the body of the article, that is why I didn't ask for it to be re-worded below. LOVI33 17:09, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Background and release

[edit]
  • Are you sure his manager announced the song? To me it seems more like he is teasing it as it says credits but never explicitly the title "Hello".
Changed
  • The tweet also doesn't back up that he announced it would be on the deluxe edition of the album.

Commercial performance

[edit]
  • The song initially charted → "Hello" initially charted
  • Then, the track later peaked at number 97 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart → The song later entered the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 97.
  • I don't like the listing of different chart positions. Try writing them out in full like what you did for the United States or say "It peaked within the top 40 of ...., the top 50 of...., etc"

Not done There are not that many chart positions so I am going to leave it like this.

Credits and personnel

[edit]
  • Looks good!

Charts

[edit]
  • Austrian chart ref isn't working. You need to add "feat. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie" to the artist parameter
  • German chart ref also isn't working. You have the wrong song id

 Not done

  • The song doesn't appear in the Irish ref. You might have to use the Ireland3 parameter instead of Ireland4

 Not done

  • New Zealand Heatseekers → New Zealand Hot Singles

 Not done

  • You can remove the Twitter Hot 100 reference as it now appears in the template source

References

[edit]
  • Copyvio score is too high at 40.5%. Check your wording on ref 12.
  • Make sure all these are archived
  • Ref 1: I recommend using the {{cite tweet}} template

 Not done

  • Ref 5: Right now the archive-url is in place of the url, please fix this; Top 40/Rhythmic-Crossover > Future Releases → Top 40 Rhythmic Future Releases; All Access should be cited as a publisher

Final comments and verdict

[edit]
  • Overall I think this is a great article and could definitely be GA, but I have one concern. I think that this article was nominated a little too soon. Considering that it just entered the Billboard Hot 100 this week, I would say it hasn't reached a peak yet. I usually would recommend waiting until it has reached its peak in most major markets to nominate as if you don't it usually leads to stability concerns. Plus the song was released just a month ago meaning more information could surface about the song. Due to this, I'm going to have a  Second opinion requested to see what other editors think. @The Ultimate Boss: I just realized that you probably weren't notified that I finished my review since I opened it for a second opinion so I am pinging you now. It would be great if you could respond to my comments. I'll make my decision whether to fail or pass this article in the next few days. LOVI33 03:48, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

LOVI33 I would like to comment that in my opinion, this article's recentness does not lead to potential issues with stability because it was a Pop Smoke posthumous release so he obviously can't promote it, plus the Hot 100 position was an entry after the song previously appeared on the Bubbling Under chart rather than its actual debut on Billboard charts. So in my opinion, it should be passed. --K. Peake 11:01, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@LOVI33:, @Kyle Peake: is right. If you do not know; Pop Smoke was shot and killed during a home invasion last year in California. I lived in California for a year when I was six and my family and I moved because we thought it was too dangerous (And man were we right). The song is also only rising on the Hot 100. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 04:14, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@The Ultimate Boss: I appreciate your opinions but I cannot take them into consideration as you have bias since you are the nominator. I will however take Kyle Peake's into consideration. However, I definitely cannot pass this article at the moment. I have signaled some of my comments in which you haven't done and I have responded to your reasoning about having the the real names producers in the lead. The comments about the prose and the cite tweet template I can be a little more lenient on, but you definitely have to fix the charts as at the moment, they are not currently backed up by a source. LOVI33 17:09, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Just looking over the article now, I've noticed that the Portuguese and Swiss refs also aren't working. Please fix this as well. LOVI33 17:14, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@LOVI33: Ok. I have fixed the charts and removed their real names as you have insisted. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 06:41, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@The Ultimate Boss: thank you for that. Although I was just doing a quick check over the article and the I think the NZ Hot Singles source you have is wrong. You claim it peaked at number 6 on the chart but the source says number 37. Also the prose says it peaked at number 8. It would be great if you could also fix this. You also haven't given me a reason why you didn't re-word the first sentence. LOVI33 14:03, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@LOVI33: I have removed the NZ Hot Singles as it is not an important chart. I have also explained the first sentence above. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 23:06, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Very well.  Pass LOVI33 00:07, 14 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
