Country park?
[edit]I removed mention from the text of the Heights of Abraham being a country park; as far as I am aware it is neither an officially recognised CP, nor does it identify itself as one in its literature. Jellyman (talk) 11:55, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Not the first alpine cable car in UK?
[edit]The article claims that the cable car, opened in 1984, was the first alpine cable car in Britain.
Hum. Not entirely sure what an alpine cable car is. It isn't a term defined in our encyclopaedia, nor is it apparently used in any other article. The heights of Abraham certainly wasn't the first unqualified cable car in Britain. The cable car up the Great Orme in Llandudno opened in 1964, there may well have been others earlier. On the whole I think it is best to remove the claim, at least until somebody can provide a citable definition for an alpine cable car that includes the Heights of Abraham but excludes the Great Orme. -- chris_j_wood (talk) 17:16, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
