[edit]Anoynmous editor, Wikipedia does not use titles such as 'His Majesty' or 'His Excellency' in the bodies of articles. Nor can I find any evidence that Arsala is entitled to that mode fo address. --RaiderAspect 07:08, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
Title
[edit]You will find him addressed as such at http://www.rpcv.org/pages/sitepage.cfm?id=929, by the National Peace Corps Association.
Also, by the World Bank Group at, http://www.worldbank.org.af/WBSITE/EXTERNAL/COUNTRIES/SOUTHASIAEXT/AFGHANISTANEXTN/0,,contentMDK:20177489~menuPK:306007~pagePK:141137~piPK:141127~theSitePK:305985,00.html in the fourth line in the Chairman's statement.
By the United Nations at http://unpan1.un.org/intradoc/groups/public/documents/APCITY/UNPAN022679.pdf in an address at the Afghanistan Development Forum.
At the World Economic Forum, in Davos, in January 2004, he was addressed, with other leaders, such as former Secretary of State Colin Powell, amongst others, as His Excellency before his title of Vice President.
Furthermore, he was addressed so by the Office of the Spokesperson of the President of Afghanistan at http://www.export.gov/afghanistan/pdf/minister_bios.pdf
This should suffice, thank you.
- Please read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. You and those websites refer to him as "his excellency", but that's a POV that you all share. In order to remain neutral, our only choice is to not use titles like that. --Khoikhoi 05:32, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Farsi
[edit]I know Hedayat. When he taught at the Peace Corps, he taught Farsi. That is the name that was used as the title of the course he taught. Please do not change the language name as it was not called persian languages. Thank you.
- Yes, but the article is at Persian language, not Farsi language. --Khoikhoi 23:31, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Mr. Arsala is a possible candidate for SG
[edit]Very interesting and exciting that someone who has dedicated their life to public service could possibly get the chance to become Secretary General.
