Oppose. I assume the reason would be to disambiguate among Heavy Load (band) and Heavy Load (film), but this appears to be the primay topic for now based on pageviews and incomimg links. The hatnotes seem to be working fine. Station1 (talk) 21:07, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Move. To me the primary meaning is ordinary heavy loads. Let page Heavy Load be the disambig page. What are the figures for people accessing each of these pages? Last month, Heavy Load (band) had 299 page views. Heavy Load (film) had 262. Heavy Load had 1140, although a percentage of those could have meant one of the other meanings. There's no other Heavy Load article to disambiguate. Jafeluv (talk) 11:47, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Moving/dab

I'll be quick, and blunt. You're idiots. I know, I know. That's not very "Wikipedian" of me. But, come on. The "debate" was a three-way vote. You ask large number of people, they'll tell you this name is ambiguous. The first Google search result related to a Wikipedia article is the film.[1] Come ONNN! Besides, I'm just being bold. Okay. You know what, that was wrong. Not most of it, but the "idiots" thing. That's old Ace. Let me just make my case, with four main points:
1. The name is verifibly ambiguous, with at least three popular uses.
2."Searches/views" are invalid because, as one of the debators said, people could easily be looking for something else and just happening upon this page. If Protoman, for example, was listed simply under "Blues," would that mean he's the most popular use of that name?
3. One reason I left Wikipedia (mostly) was because of bureaucratic formalities like the electoral debates. Three people showed up! That's grounds for trying again with better advertising, not leaving things as is.
4. If I'm wrong,--riight--another debate might bear that out. As people if they think the article should be moved back. I doubt you'd get a consensus. Which, again, is part of the problem.

Wikipedia can be a great project; but sloppy, inconsistent management/oversight breeds stagnation and prevents rational problem solving.
ps: I mean "you" in the general sense. (e.g. "you guys".)

I would agree that the main page should be a disambig page and the Transformers character moved to Heavy Load (Transformers)]. When it was written there were no other uses of the name on Wikipedia. There are now. Mathewignash (talk) 22:24, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
