[edit]This is not rock
[edit]Before the change I made this song was labeled as rap rock, which is just absolutely ridiculous. This song is in no way rock, and at most it has rap influences. Ideally, I'd call this some kind of pop (or even indietronica, as I've seen some people label it as), but of course that probably wouldn't fly with the teenage fans who adore the fact that they're listening to something unique.

Rap Rock, really?
[edit]It's all very well having a source to call it rap rock, but can someone point me to ANY part of the song where he's actually rapping? Just because he raps in other songs, it has no bearing on the genre of this song. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.13.28.97 (talk) 23:13, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
"Rock"
[edit]Honestly. We've reached a point where Daughtry's album "break the spell", containing hard rock songs, is categorized as "Pop rock" here. Meanwhile this pop song is categorized "rock". I've had to edit out miscategorizations of a Maroon 5 and even a Katy Perry song as "hard rock". Just because Billboard throws the "Rock" term left and right doesn't mean wikipedia should. There are zero rock elements here. I would say it is alternative pop with electronica tendencies. "Indietronica" like someone said above. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.55.106.102 (talk) 21:02, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
