haystacknetwork
[edit]I suggest there is a need to create a Wikipedia page about the haystacknetwork, and then include a link to it from this disambiguation page. DFH (talk) 21:33, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Changed into full article
[edit]On 23 August 2011, the page "Haystack" was changed by Wikid77 (me), from being an unusual disambigation page, into a full article (this revision) about the common topic of haystacks, and hayricks and haycocks to describe the terms and allow for expanded text. The associated disambiguation page was already linked with typical name "Haystack (disambiguation)" so that page remains to link other articles with titles containing the word "Haystack". -Wikid77 (talk) 16:08, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Haystack → Haystack (disambiguation) –
I have tried creating a full article to be "Haystack" (with terms "hayrick" and "haycock") as being a pile of hay (the common usage of the word). However, the current dab page (inside "Haystack") should be moved over the redirect to become "Haystack (disambiguation)". Then the page "Haystack" can be expanded as the full article about stacks of hay, the common stacking methods and dangers of fires in haystacks, etc. I have checked the current links, and they are all clear, expecting link "Haystack" to be about haystacks of hay. NOTE: I already moved the talk-page, so it is already "Talk:Haystack (disambiguation)" (don't move talk-page). -Wikid77 (talk) 17:31, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- I had hoped you would create the article you wanted to have at Haystack first in your user space (or as a subarticle), and frame this as a multimove so as to allow editors to more easily evaluate whether a standalone article is worthwhile. As it is, this old revision is the closest we have to see what you have in mind. I have to say, I don't see that there is a real need for a separate article given that the coverage in Hay is pretty extensive. It's worth noting that there are no references whatsoever aside from dictionary definitions. older ≠ wiser 17:51, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- Not to mention that moving the talk page in isolation is horribly bad idea. However, I Support the move, as I think Haystack ought to be a redirect to Hay. Powers T 21:08, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- I support the move. A haystack is just a stack of hays and all other articles are not other meanings, but stuff named after haystacks.--damiens.rf 01:37, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
