Main pic

I was searching for an inflight main pic and saw there are excellent inflight JASDF pics to choose from :

Which are your best ones?--Marc Lacoste (talk) 09:24, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

None of those would be suitable for a lead image, one like this would be better:. MilborneOne (talk) 14:50, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This article is about Hawker 400XPs not Hawker 400.

[edit]

A Hawker 400 is a HS-125 airplane from the 60s and 70s. Beechjets were never sold under the name Hawker 400, only under Hawker 400XP. Perhaps we should change the article name to reflect this, maybe even add a page about the actual Hawker 400. Here is a picture of a 400.

The 125-400 was only really used the "Hawker 400" name in the USA so it is covered in the British Aerospace 125 article with all the other 125 variants. It was no a particularly common name for the Series 400 so unlikely to need an article with that name MilborneOne (talk) 21:01, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Performance

[edit]

My removal of the paragraph on performance was reverted by User:Marc Lacoste but really it just look like a dump from a biz jet review journal and not the style or prentation text we normally use in these articles. Looks like it was straight out of a sales brochure and not really suited hereMilborneOne (talk) 22:32, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Being from a biz jet review journal is a good thing for a biz jet, the source is quite authoritative: [Fred George (Dec 10, 2014). "Operators Survey: Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP/Nextant 400XT". Business & Commercial Aviation.] (Aviation Week network). Style isn't easy for performance figures, some help would be welcome. But style is not a reason for deleting referenced information. It is quite the opposite of a sales brochure: those are figures from the real world, not best cases with low empty weights and fringe ranges.
