[edit]Middletown not a suburb of Harrisburg?
Given that Middletown was founded in 1755, I don't think residents consider this boro a "suburb",in the general sense of the word.
So, I would vote to delete the term "suburb" Redneb 17:08, 10 February 2006 (UTC)Redneb
- I know I'm coming late to the conversation, but as an area resident I would agree with not calling Middletown a suburb of Harrisburg. It's very much its own town. user:PurpleChez 6/9/14 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.118.65.34 (talk) 18:06, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
Add passenger/cargo traffic?
[edit]Redneb 17:10, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Yet another example of people adding 'citation needed' when they HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! Look, if you are not sure whether something is true, either verify it, disprove it (and correct it) or leave it alone. This is the problem with allowing the public at large, and those in the United States in particular, having a say in something academic: we tend to be idiots.
If Wikipedia continues to allow idiots to challenge that the sky is blue, or that it is generally daylight when the freaking sun is up, then just give up. If you allow people with no knowledge whatsoever to challenge actual facts, you have failed.

Fair use rationale for Image:Hia logo.gif
[edit]Image:Hia logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:45, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Discontinued Flight
[edit]I removed the Colgan Air flight to New York City as it was discontinued today. Here are some sources: The Patriot News, Harrisburg International Airport, and USA Today.--MrFishGo Fish 18:25, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
New terminal buildings
[edit]I'm going to have to do some poking around... I'm just not sure about the statement that the terminal that was replaced by the current terminal had been built in 1973. I'd almost swear that it had been built closer to my young adulthood... and the architectural style doesn't seem to fit with the early 70s. user:PurpleChez 6/9/14 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.118.65.34 (talk) 18:09, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
- According to link the previous terminal was built in 1986. Now, all I have to do is retrieve my password so I can properly log in and make some fixes!! user:PurpleChez 6/9/14 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.118.65.34 (talk) 18:30, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

Air Force One
[edit]In addition to the reasons already cited, I've been told that Harrisburg International Airport is used for practice because it's a good representation of an "average" or "typical" US airport. I'll try to document this.... PurpleChez (talk) 14:59, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
