I don't understand the justification for separating out the "biblical place" Haran from the general article on Harran. Please explain. --Macrakis (talk) 13:46, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Same here. I opposed the forking at the time, since no dissenting source was ever found locating the biblical Haran anywhere else but at Harran. But, the user who wanted the fork was very insistent and would not compromise. Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 13:54, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
