Fisheries Jurisdiction Case - U.K. vs. Iceland
[edit]The flag in the court favored column was wrong. The ICJ clearly favored the U.K. in this case. The Court found that:
1. The Icelandic Regulations of 1972 constituting a unilateral extension of the exclusive fishing rights of Iceland to 50 miles from the baselines were not opposable to the U.K.
2. Iceland is not entitled unilaterally to exclude U.K. fishing vessels from areas between the 12 mile and 50 mile limits.
Addition of Court Judgements in the "Court Favored" Column
[edit]I was surprised that the flag in the Fisheries Jurisdiction Case -U.K. vs. Iceland was wrong. As a result, the collective judgements / rulings of the Court are now available for quick reference. Access to the Court's judgement .pdfs also allows easy juxtaposition when contrasting Dillard's reasoning with that of the Court as a whole. This is particularly helpful in longer involved cases like Western Sahara.

Dillard Ribbon Bar
[edit]Prior to exhibiting Dillard's ribbon bar on the main article page, I am posting it here for peer review.
Due to the strange records fire in 1973 at the National Personnel Records Center, Dillard's DD214 does not exist. As a result, there is no official record of his awards, commendations etc. The National Archives will only confirm his rank at discharge - Colonel. I have verified his awards by citing other sources. Any comments as to whether or not the sources adequately support displaying of the ribbon, would be greatly appreciated.
Dillard's award from the Air Force was received as a civilian. I am not aware of the protocol surrounding a civilian medal /ribbon being displayed alongside awards received while in uniform. However, since this is a "virtual" ribbon bar and not being displayed in an official capacity, the Air Force ribbon, in my opinion , is fine alongside decorations received while an active member of the U.S. Army.
