Helmet light mount is one paragraph, unreferenced, and with very little content. It could be merged as a 1-liner addition to this article. --Wtshymanski (talk) 17:00, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have added more information on colors, and stickers that appear on hard hats. Will find references to back this information up shortly.96.251.126.110 (talk) 10:33, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Propose Major Addition

[edit]

The bowler hat can be suppose as a precursor to the hard hat in it's original intent as a gamekeeper's protective headwear [1] and with the apparent additions of Secrete_(helmet) type, sewn into the interior during the hat's use in the working classes of Britain. I am currently researching this for sources, validity, and academic acceptance. I am completely open to opinions and the possibility this belongs as a minor edit or as an entry on another page, which may not currently be linked to this one. Another extant possibility is the expansion into general early forms of workplace head protection. Patron Vectras (talk) 15:12, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
