Longitude and Latitude
[edit]The article has two sets of numbers. They both can't be right. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 22:02, 16 May 2008 (UTC) Stan
- They can be. One set is in decimal, the other in deg, min, sec. I'll remove the set in the main body.Asher196 (talk) 22:24, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for the explanation. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 22:41, 16 May 2008 (UTC) Stan

Current efforts
[edit]If you take a look at the Wobser Boatnerd.com link, there is a lot of activity concerning this lighthouse which needs to be written up. I can't get to it right now. Maybe somebody else can. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 00:12, 13 June 2008 (UTC) Stan
Range of light, duration of season for horn and for light
[edit]The two different ranges (W 19, R 16) is per the USCG Volume 7. I have seen nothing ot the contrary. Putting aside the entire question of verifiability of sources (which is involved in the operational season of the light and the horn), there appears to be no source for the range that has been put in. In fact, it seems to be directly contradicted by Volume 7. The current edit eliminated reference to the foghorn, which is again supported by USCG Volume 7. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 14:36, 24 June 2008 (UTC) Stan
The "W" stands for "White" and the "R" stands for red. The lens on the Harbor Beach light is red. You can see this by going to the lighthouse or on Terry Pepper "Seeing the Light" web page. The USCG Volume 7 document is outdated. My source is the Lighthouse -- what is actully out there! —Preceding unsigned comment added by HB Edit (talk • contribs) 15:59, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
