References needed
[edit]This is a good article, but at the moment is completely devoid of any kind of sources or references, so I have added the {{originalresearch}} tag to it, until some can be provided. --Elonka 16:52, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'll look and see what I can find. Info on the various kinds should be fairly easy to find, by looking at manufacturer's websites; that will show the variations and intended purposes. Maybe I can also find some concealed carry "which holster do I choose" articles. scot 18:04, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Nice job, I've removed the OR tag. --Elonka 19:33, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
History...
[edit]Does anyone have any information on the history of the HolsterNaraht (talk) 02:39, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
- Although I don't recall reading anywhere about holster history specifically, to me there can be no doubt that they were predated by, and have been in part influenced by, the sheaths (scabbards) in which edged weapons have been carried since prehistoric times. . — ¾-10 00:38, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
Reciprocal reference problem
[edit]The reference currently at [2], labeled <ref name=ds-1>, goes to an article at daggershop, that seems to reference this article. I'm really not sure how to fix that. Some of the article seems original, and some borrowed. But I can't tell who borrowed from whom. But I do note other editors have taken note of the reciprocal reference possibility by citing xkcd. —Aladdin Sane (talk) 20:42, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
