This page does provide somewhat valuable information, and looking at how short the Gassco page is, this content should be merged there. This subject does not quite constitute its own page, but the information is valuable enough it should be included in the above mentioned article. --ANowlin: talk 14:53, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I do not think it is a good solution to merge individual transport systems (pipelines) into the Gassco article. The Gassco article may mention basic facts about the Haltenpipe transport system, along with other transport systems, but Haltenpipe is only a "minor" fraction of Gassco's total responsibility. The Gassco article currently doesn't even mention many of the important export pipelines owned by Gassled, such as Statpipe, Norpipe, Europipe I, Europipe II, Vesterled and Langeled, all operated by Gassco. Another point is that since ownership and operatorship of pipelines often change over time, it is probably better to separate articles of the physical objects from articles of the business objects (owners, operators, licencees, etc). My misunderstanding. I thought Haltenpipe was owned by Gassco. Go ahead with expansion of the article with an infobox and possibly a map showing where the pipeline runs. I will tag appropriately when I get a chance (got a few things to take care of first: real life calls!) Thank you for your contribution! --ANowlin: talk 02:14, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Tagged appropriately. Again, thank you for your contribution! --ANowlin: talk 02:18, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
