Mitimae

[edit]

This word have two meanings: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitimae_%28desambiguaci%C3%B3n%29 (Link is in spanish).

It's necessary to translate both entries to english, to let Mitimae definition congruent with the actual context of this article. Gatoparlante (talk) 13:27, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Language

[edit]

Interesting article but it reads like magic realism written by someone whose first language is not English, with frequent words in the vernacular, such as the above Mitimae. I am editing the language a little, but please do not be offended if I misunderstand. E.g.

depending of Cayambis >> depending on the Cayambis
estancias >> estates
a merced of XYZ >> (since merced seems to be Spanish for mercy) XYZ by way of compensation

I have got to the third section. It still reads like an Isabel Allende novel. I wish I were there. --Timtak (talk) 22:57, 14 August 2012 (UTC) updated 23 August 2012[reply]
