Criticism
[edit]The HTC Touch Pro does not work in American or Canadian 3G networks... Which Touch Pro? From the main site and this sentence one might gather that the AT&T version doesn't work on those networks. (i'm unsure if it works on Canada's but know it works on American 3G) MikelZap (talk) 16:10, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- I still don't see any citations on this, it has a source but the course doen't mention anything about which networks particular devices work on. Since i really like this phone i may take on the challenge of redoing the page, I believe i can keep the no-PoV and write it correctly with sources, so we will see. - I think saying "The HTC Touch Pro does not work in American or Canadian 3G networks" is misleading, since the CDMA version of this phone does indeed work with EVDO which is also a 3G network. Cl191 (talk) 13:25, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- the AT&T fuze is a touch pro and it's on a 3g network i still don't evven understand what the user was trying to say about them not working. Maybe if you buy a Touch Pro in Canada it's locked somehow and cannot be used in all other countries?MikelZap (talk) 20:32, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Picture
[edit]I just realized i should have the keyboard in it's open position demonstrating the difference between itself and the HTC diamond. Does anyone else read this? MikelZap (talk) 23:02, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Picture -- hacked + no webcam!!!
[edit]The Touch Pro in the picture is hacked! You can see that Opera is set as the Left softkey, and not Phone. Also, can we get a shot a of Touch Pro with a webcam? I would take one myself but mine has no webcam OR Carrier name... --MasterOfTheXP (talk) 21:29, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yes my touch pro is hacked, if you have ever had an AT&T smartphone you would know why, i actually removed all the graphical enhancements so TF3D wasn't different i'm planning on taking a different picture anyways. The touch pro with a front facing camera is one of many touch pro's i'm guessing only half of the TPs out there have front cameras for video conferencing/calling. I would be careful how you address situations on this site, freaking out saying HACKED + NO WEBCAM isn't really the best way to go about it.MikelZap (talk) 20:31, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's not really hacked, just customized. But showing a stock TF3D would probably be better, even if some carriers do use different themes (ie- ATT Fuze's gray theme vs HTC's black). We should get a higher quality picture in there, not some blurry pic (sorry MasterOfTheXP). Maybe have two pics- one for the GSM version, the other CDMA version, since they look somewhat different. --Corneliusm (talk) 19:20, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
Luxury smartphone?
[edit]The lead says that the Touch Pro is a "luxury smartphone". What exactly is a luxury smartphone, and why does the Touch Pro qualify as one? It seems like it's simply a buzz word thrown in by an editor. Brianreading (talk) 02:05, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Weight correction
[edit]The weight spec should be corrected. It is actually 5.8oz (http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-fuze/tech-specs/) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.102.234.10 (talk) 17:17, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
