Why this article?
[edit]What is the point of having an article about non-conventional views of AIDS specifically in South Africa? The article at present consists of a single paragraph that could easily be placed in HIV/AIDS denialism. I don't see the purpose of this article. - Perhaps you are right about what the article presently consists of; however, there is lots of additional material that I intend to add. Be patient and I suspect this will change your mind. Jinkinson talk to me 13:37, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
- Well, I'm still not convinced. I doubt that there's any worthwhile content in this article that couldn't better be placed in other articles, and I'm not sure whether "HIV/AIDS denialism in South Africa" is a subject notable independently of HIV/AIDS denialism in general. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 20:36, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
- The parent article is 76k with this split out; not huge but also not so small that we clearly need to be condensing. Certainly this seems like a reasonable place to split, as denialism has been institutionalized to a very pervasive degree in SA. FreeKnowledgeCreator feel free to start a formal merge proposal, but my !vote would be to keep these articles separate. VQuakr (talk) 01:08, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
