Hi all, I lately came across Gwyn Ashton's music, and I was extremely surprised that the man didn't already have a Wikipedia entry, so I created the stub. I hope somebody more knowledgable than I about him and blues in general can expand... Me, I just like his music. ;-) --Syzygy (talk) 08:49, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Gwyn is the real deal
[edit]Hi, I’ve been aware of Gwyn’s music probably going back 25 years ago when I lived in the U.K, I read reviews of his albums, saw him live and since moving to Australia in 2008 and having two radio shows (Jimmy the K, Hills radio, Mount Barker and the Jimmy The K Lectures, Lofty Radio, Mount Barker) I have played Gwyn’s music many times. He may be a blower of his own trumpet but I know very few musicians who work harder and he puts his money where his mouth is every time. A testament to his skill and reputation was to be asked to be part of “Band of friends” as the guest guitarist filling the shoes of the legendary Irish guitarist, Rory Gallagher.
