Numbering of the GT1 and GT2 1990s homologations
[edit]I dont want to start an edit war but Id argue that this article should use the 00X numbering for the GT1 and GT2 (1990s) cars. For the GT1 cars, the 000X is included in all the cars homologated or changed in 1997 (0001, 0004, 0005, 0006) except for the Porsche 911 GT1. All the other cars were never labeled 000X according to their homologation papers. Furthermore in the homologation papers of 0004, 0005 and 0006 they are also referred to as 004, 005 and 006 respectively. The Appendix J of 1996-1998 also always list them as 00X even the aforementioned 1997 cars. Therefore I think that this article should keep the 00X numbering since it also helps with consistency.
For the GT2 1990s cars its the same, every Appendix J from 1996-1998 and also the homologation papers list GT2-001 - GT2-007 as GT2-00X. 2003:FA:8724:8F00:5164:F90B:FEB5:FA72 (talk) 08:03, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
GT1-007 Lotus Elise GTI / GT1
[edit]The only source I found for GT1-007 is FIA Appendix J 1998 and it lists the GT1-006 as Lotus Elise GT1 Turbo and the GT1-007 as Lotus Elise GTI. It may have been an error since GT1-007 doesnt appear in any Appendix J after 1998 but still the only official document I could find lists it as GTI so maybe the article should reflect this. 2003:FA:8724:8F00:5164:F90B:FEB5:FA72 (talk) 08:10, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
