Curly Cups?
[edit]Most of the members of this genus seem to have a cup of green clawlike, curling or erect phyllaries. Is this true of all members? If so, it would be nice if this article would say so. I have a species I've been trying to identify for years and in virtually every way it looks like a Grindelia, except that the little green scales on the back of the flower head lay flat, the way they do on a dandelion like the Spotted Cat's Ear. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GlenPeterson (talk • contribs) 20:37, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
