The materials under the section called “The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria” in Greg Sarris’ biography are unsourced or poorly sourced contentious materials. These materials are not relevant to Mr. Sarris for purposes of a biographical entry and mirror the problematic sections in the Wikipedia entry for Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. Please see rules on Wikipedia: Biographies of living persons. Please also see my comments on the talk page entry under “The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria” where I explain why that article in its current form violates a host of Wikipedia rules. To be consistent with Wikipedia rules and policies on biographies, particularly given the extra protections given to biographies of living persons, I strongly recommend deleting the existing content under the section in question and replacing it with something along the lines of the following:
“Sarris serves as Chairman of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, a federally recognized Indian tribe with offices in Rohnert Park, California.”
