"progressive"
[edit]Sounds more like a euphemism, try left-wing or socialist.

- I do not see the problem. Definitely, "Progressivism" is a more generic concept than "Socialism", but this party is progressive, not socialist. When "Socialism" or "Social democracy" is already mentioned, "Progressivism" is redundant. This is not our case. --Checco (talk) 13:26, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
- I changed my mind: "progressivism" is redundant also when "green politics" is mentioned. --Checco (talk) 13:54, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
Ideology: consensus and status quo ante
[edit]"Pro-Europeanism" has not been part of the ideology field in the infobox, at least not durably, and there has never been consensus on it, no matter what individual users think about the party's ideology (is this this party pro-Europeanist? really?) and whether "pro-Europeanism" is an ideology or not (it is not). The same is true for "progressivism", a generic and redundant ideology given that the party clearly adheres to "green politics", and "feminism", which is surely not central in the party's ideology (no less than most green or left-wing/centre-left parties in Europe: feminism is only seldom mentioned in the infobox or the lead). Thus, "pro-Europeanism" should be removed from the infobox and the lead, while the latter two from the lead. Bold edits are fine as long as they are not challenged and/or go against consensus and/or the staus quo ante, that is the established version of the article. Per Wikipedia:Consensus, "when discussions of proposals to add, modify, or remove material in articles end without consensus, the common result is to retain the version of the article as it was prior to the proposal or bold edit". There was never a discussion on the issue, let alone two comments on "progressivism" above. Before adding "pro-Europeanism" or anything else to the infobox or the lead, please seek consensus first. -- Checco (talk) 13:54, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
