Longest defense wall after China??

This claim in the tetshould be backed up. 200 km is not sooo impressive. The Roman limes (defense line) in southern Germania was more than 500 km. You may argue about the quality of fortification but as far as length goes it does not look like silver medal. Claim should be substantiated or removed.Kipala (talk) 14:05, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Height and Manning

The article does not say how high the wall was, which might be of some importance. Was it high enough to present a barrier in its own right, even when undefended? Or was it relatively low and only useful when manned at every point? The distances between forts were substantial so to be effective it would either have to have been high and difficult to climb or densely manned.Bill (talk) 22:59, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
