Gettysburg Address?
[edit]The original show (from the 1965 World's Fair) was an amalgation of various speeches and included a portion of his "Address Before the Young Men's Lyceum of Springfield." Was the speech changed/re-programmed to the Gettysburg Address when the show was updated in the 90s?
- Yes, originally the Lincoln speech contained numerous lines from some of his less-well-known works and the actual "pre-story" (as opposed to the soldier fighting and getting shot at Gettysburg) was different; a rehab sometime in the 80s or 90s (not sure of the actual date) altered the guest's "story" and the speech Lincoln gives.
We need your pictures
[edit]If you have a good quality photo that you took personally of Lincoln standing in the main theater, please upload it for use in this article. High resolution isn't needed as long as a thumbnail size version of the image looks good. One good photo from each version of the attraction would be great. Here are links to samples of what we need, but we can't use these particular images due to copyright restrictions. [1] [2] Thanks! UncleDouggie (talk) 05:37, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- We know have several photos, but stay on the lookout for anything better. —UncleDouggie (talk) 14:06, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- The last person to see Lincoln in person in the theatre died in 1956, and he did not bring a camera at the time, being a very young boy. 2A01:CB0C:1704:9A00:93D:D647:44D1:247B (talk) 05:52, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
I have seen the actual date as May 2, 1964, not April 22, 1964
[edit]Can this please be checked? I have read in several sources that the actual date Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln debuted was on May 2, 1964. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.170.169.236 (talk) 00:01, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

"(expect for Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris after 2015/2023) bad maintenance is when 1: every soundtrack or most is off with each other making it sound choppy and unsatisfying or 2: half of the dolls having broken mouths or is slowly to barely moving. Both applies to the holiday overlay as well (expect Magic Kingdom)"
