Where are people getting the "Blankenhooper" name? This keeps popping up on my watchlist, and if there's a source for it, I'd like to settle it once and for all. If it was something mentioned in the film (I'm not sure if it was), that should be enough to write it down. Kevinbrogers (talk) 16:25, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It likely came from a series episode. Doesn't belong anywhere in this article unless it was revealed in the movie. It doesn't belong in the cast list as the cast list should reflect the actual credits for the movie. The movie stands alone and info derived from the series does not belong. I'm perfectly fine with that (though I must disagree that it stands completely alone), but I know that there will be a lot of people who don't realize that and will keep adding last names. Perhaps a hidden note should be added explaining that? Kevinbrogers (talk) 17:44, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I already put a hidden note in the cast section when I transcribed the credits from my viewing of the show credits and added them to the article. Check the note and see if there is some way to make it more understandable. Some editors choose to ignore hidden notes, unfortunately. I was thinking of putting a {{see also}} or equivalent tag there pointing to the character section in the series article. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:51, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The Blankenhooper name came from [1], basically a casting call planning info - see last paragraph. If the name didn't actually show up in the movie, it doesn't belong in the article, in my opinion. The name could have been deleted when the script was finalized. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:55, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Right. If it's not in the movie, it could easily change. Everything looks good to me, it's just unfortunate that hidden notes are so often ignored. Thanks. Kevinbrogers (talk) 19:20, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Blankenhooper is more likely sourced from the series itself. It was established in season 1 that Blankenhooper was Amy's maiden name:
  • "Snow Show: Part 2". Good Luck Charlie. Season 1. Episode 25. January 23, 2011. 05:00 minutes in. Disney Channel. {{cite episode}}: Unknown parameter |episodelink= ignored (|episode-link= suggested) (help)
This is referenced at Good Luck Charlie#Amy Duncan. It's a natural assumption that if her maiden name was Blankenhooper then that was her parents' last name. --AussieLegend (talk) 22:35, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
