Its a Gypsy village, like I said http://www.ktvotv3.com/Global/story.asp?S=5714526

That's better! - crz crztalk 02:38, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Motoieni

[edit]

If I read it right, the Romania location appears as Motoieni in the credits. This article says it is in Moroeni. Which is right?

Moroeni. There's no place named "Motoieni". bogdan 11:22, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
IMDB has it as Moroieni.
It's Moreni [1]. Rowiki proves it. - crz crztalk 16:23, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
ro.wiki is wrong, then. :-) There is no village named "Glod" in Moreni. bogdan 22:02, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have found numerous sources that say Glod is a village, in the Moreni commune of Dâmboviţa. Not just the Romanian and German wikis, but :

Yes, but it's Moroeni, occasionally spelled Moroieni, not Moreni, which is a different place. Vampires, not Mills! :-) (Moroi are some kind of Romanian vampires, while "Moreni" means "millers") bogdan 23:46, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article really needs help

[edit]

Just a thought, if anyone knows a lot about Glod, it might be a good idea to add some more stuff. As of right now, the majority of the article is about the town's relation to the movie Borat. That's just lop-sided. If Borat is mentioned even at all, it should be in a very small section of the article. It seems disrespectful to the Glod people that their only claim to fame is that their town was trashed by a movie that apparently caused them pain. I'd add stuff myself but I'm afraid I don't know anything about Glod.J.J. Bustamante 22:32, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The subject would not be notable if not for the movie. There isn't (nor should there be) an article for every insignificant small town in the world. 74.72.91.209 (talk) 03:22, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
