Creation
[edit]Hi. I created this stub, mostly because I just quoted this fellow in the Beat Generation page, and I thought it would be convienient to have a page I could point at to help explain who the guy was I was quoting.
I don't have any strong opinion about his "notability" -- he appears to had some connection to Andy Warhol's circle (hence the Basquiat connection, etc). I suppose you could make a case for just mentioning him in the articles about that circle (I see there's one for The Factory), but I'm not sure that's a perfect fit, either.
Anyway, if you're worried that this page is a self-promtional posting from the subject himself, that's not the case... this is just me "building the web". -- Doom 01:00, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Glenn
[edit]Glenn O'Brien worked for the Village Voice for several years in the 1990's.
When Andy Warhol died in 1987, Glenn was listed as the editor for one issue of Interview magazine, and then left. As I recall, the new editor who took over when he left was Ingrid Sischy. Vpfritz (talk) 10:44, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
