[edit]Do we know the date of this[1] sculpture? Drutt (talk) 07:48, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
- I've been trying to discover if Moretti is the sculptor of this work - to no avail. I will keep looking. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 17:21, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Here is another picture of it, or of a replica, identifying it as by Moretti. There's some background to it here. It appears this sculpture had a colorful history. I'd like to know more about it. Drutt (talk) 13:11, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, it has my attention too. The newspaper article that you discovered bodes well for Moretti because when he was in the USA (as I recall) he lived/worked in the Pittsburgh and Ohio area for a bit. However elsewhere I found that the Ringling Bros gort it from a foundry in Naples and that they thought it was by Moretti. "Thinking" (especially my own) always gets me nervous and suspecious. The hunt goes on. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 21:53, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

It looks like a nice start-almost B article. But in order to rate it as B I would like it a bit more expanded.--Yannismarou 16:16, 18 January 2007 (UTC) |
