Originally designed as "headless"

[edit]

The oddball shape of the Corvus was due to the fact that it was originally designed as a "headless" guitar and the machine heads/tuners were to be mounted on the body in the cut-out. Initial negative feedback from Gibson's dealers resulted in a hasty redesign to include a headstock.

Sounds plausible, but do we have a source? Hoof Hearted (talk) 19:47, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It was supposed to be headless to cash in on the Steinberger vogue. It only looks like crow if you are on LSD. To everyone else in was the can opener. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.131.128.36 (talk) 18:43, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Notable Corvus players" section irrelevant

[edit]

The section consists solely of a link to List of Gibson players in which the word "Corvus" does not appear even once. That makes the link and the section irrelevant. Both should be removed, or the link should be replaced with an expansion template. 12.233.146.130 (talk) 23:48, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
