Restoring of article
[edit]@Chintu6: you need to check the AFD, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ghazwatul Hind, and you should realize that none of the concerns from that AFD have been addressed with your new version of the article. My Lord (talk) 12:56, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

It is also predicted that a Black Flagged Army will liberate Palestine and come to Indian sub-continent to join this battle of Hind.

The deletion idea is good because it contradicts the Islamic source the Quran.
Based on the basic guide of Islam, the prophet does not even know what is going to happen to him. So all hadiths pertaining to his claim to what is going to happen in the future contradict the main source of knowledge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.249.229.18 (talk) 07:04, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
Muslim conquests of India, Mughals and Delhi Sultans
[edit]Have a look here. Why does the article not to mention that according to some historians and scholars this refer to the Islamic rule in India and Muslim conquests in the Indian subcontinent, which include the Mughal Empire, Delhi Sultanate, wealthy Bengal Sultanate, Deccan Sultanates, Tipu Sultan's Mysore Kingdom, Nawabs of Bengal etc. Muslims ruled most of the Indian subcontinent for long, so why nothing about this is mentioned, since gazwa hind simply refers to this — Preceding unsigned comment added by Melbacool (talk • contribs) 21:34, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is a work in progress; this and many other articles likely lack information that should absolutely be added. If you have a useful source on hand that supports your claim, feel free to add it yourself! From looking at the rationalwiki article that you linked, it seems plausible that citations #2 and #3 on that article could be considered reliable enough to use here. signed, Rosguill talk 22:07, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- Yes thanks, Rosguill. But the article is protected, and can't edit it. Could you please add some info on the Islamic rule in India and Muslim conquests in the Indian subcontinent, since it has been claimed by many that the gazwa hind refer to these, something that alreaddy occurred. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Melbacool (talk • contribs) 22:18, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- Melbacool, hm weird, usually when there's protection there's a little icon in the top right corner, for some reason that's not displaying. At any rate, I would ask that you hit "View source" on the article, click "Submit an edit request" and draft a paragraph with your proposed additions. signed, Rosguill talk 23:36, 30 October 2019 (UTC)

CHANGE: mentioned in some hadiths in particular[3] predicting a final and last battle in India and as a result, a conquest of the whole Indian subcontinent by Muslim warriors.
TO: mentioned in some hadiths in particular[4] predicting a battle in India and as a result, conquest of it by Muslim warriors.
WHY?: The hadith [1] mentioned has ZERO reference to "a last and final battle" in the End Times. Unlearned people look at the hadith and link the two groups (1. invaders of India) and (2. People saved by Isa) to suggest it will happen at the same time, however the COMPLETE OPPOSITE is two. The hadith is making a CLEAR distinction between the two. Has India already been invaded? Yes. Has Isa returned? No. So it fits the pattern. Again, only unlearned/warmongering people would twist this hadith. Warriorwthin (talk) 19:45, 5 November 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Most scholars believe that this prophecy includes the proposed war between India and Pakistan over Ghazwa Muhammad bin Qasim, Mahmud Ghaznavi, Shahabuddin Ghori, Ahmad Shah Abdali and Kashmir. Some say that all the battles of Muslims and non-Muslims in the subcontinent (India) from the time of the Prophethood to the Indian subcontenent are right to be termed as 'Ghazwa-e-Hind'. Is Ghazwa-e-Hind similar to Christian Zionism?
[edit]To some believers, Ghazwa-e-Hind (an invasion of India) is a sign of the end times, and others believe that doing so will lead to rushing the apocalypse and the rule of God on the Earth.
That sounds similar to Christian Zionism, where some believers consider the existence of Israel to rush the end times and God's direct presence.
Is it alright if I can add "Christian Zionism" as a "See also" link? The two seem similar to me, seeking wars to fulfill some religious prophecy.

Propaganda
[edit]This article should be removed because Gazwa is procecution of non Muslims Het666 (talk) 10:23, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
- There is already war (persecution) against non-Muslims listed in the article, and how Ghazwa is used by Islamist extremists to wage war against India at the bottom:
- "It is also used by some Islamic militants in India and Pakistan, such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, as their goal in waging war against India."
- This article is still necessary because it talks about what some Islamic militants use to justify waging war against India and non-Muslim people. It is like "white genocide" (neonazis) or "NATO expansion" (communists) as a reason why extremists attack and persecute.

Talk:Ghazwa-e-Hind
[edit]The truth - all the books said for reference to be believed is not true, as a muslim we have been warned that such an act to destroy one's faith and goodwill will be done. You'll find even counterfeit Quran, god forbid. These get caught cuz people have been living the way of islam since centuries. This is NOT a teachings of islam cuz these has not been written in Quran. That said the hadith(words, sentences, phrases said by Muhammed (SAW) for his followers to be followed and will be given a good deed count) can only be shown proper with proper backlog of history to whom was said to whom and when it's been noted for the history to know. There are saying him Muhammad's name (SAW) for the people following islam to withdraw there sanity to these lines where you can still follow the old school way to know if the things you read is true OR people are that naive not to work on their information. May Allah give you the answers you seek. 103.241.226.168 (talk) 05:39, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
Redirect not justified
[edit]The redirection of Ghazwa-e-Hind to Indian reunification looks awkward as the former is a hot topic (https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&range=latest-20&pages=Ghazwa-e-Hind) in south Asia these days, especially in Uttar Pradesh, where the Chief minister and other MLA's frequently use it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Daiabi (talk • contribs) 04:50, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
