Did you know... that the Geumsansa temple in Gimje, South Korea, served as the training ground for the Buddhist volunteer corps along with monks against Japanese invasions of Korea in the end of the 16th century?

"National Treasure" and just "Treasure" are different.

The South Korean government adapts a hierarchy system on important intangible treasures or national treasures in South Korea. The title, Gukbo (National Treasure) is given to superb intangible properties, and Bomu (Treasure) is the 2nd grade properties next in line in terms of historical value and artistic perspective.
