[edit]There is some confusion (reflected in some of the 'vandalism') as to certain data: IAFD & LukeFord claim a birth date of 03/01/1936 with a birth name of "Dorothy May". This contrasts with the IMDB data currently reflected in the article.
Prosecution
[edit]Sometime in the 1970's, Spelvin and Harry Reems, and probably others, were prosecuted for their participation in The Devil in Miss Jones by the federal government in a trial located in Memphis, TN (apparently selected by prosecutors for being sexually conservative and thus more likely for a jury to return a guilty verdict). I definitely recall that the ACLU was involved in the defense; the trial was written-up in their magazine. Dick Kimball (talk) 14:43, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
- You're thinking of Linda Lovelace and Deep Throat. That's the Reems movie that got him prosecuted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.227.246.65 (talk) 13:21, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
- Both Reems and Spelvin were indicted and dropped by the same prosecutor and on the same both days

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
[edit]Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Accent
[edit]In The Devil In Miss Jones, she seems to be trying to do an English accent. I could not tell where she was from, but did not expect Texas. Is there any discussion in the appearances you cite about how she wanted to sound in ‘Jones’?
